A.J. Green’s farewell message on IG:

” Thank you. Thank you to all who have supported, encouraged, and inspired me throughout my career. Special thank you to the University of Georgia, Cincinnati Bengals, and Arizona Cardinals for the opportunity to pursue my dreams. I’ve stayed true to the game and it owes me nothing. Be blessed.. Love y’all!  The next chapter begins…

Green spent nine seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, including seven as a Pro Bowler.

The 34-year-old then went on to end his career in Arizona with hopes of finally claiming that Super Bowl ring.

Unfortunately, he may not have ended his NFL journey on the best note, however, there is still plenty to look back on and admire when it comes to Green’s tremendous time in the league.

Whether it be six 1000+ yard seasons, three 10+ touchdown seasons, or seven Pro Bowls, the NFL lost a great one today.

And let’s not forget Green’s 77-yard touchdown grab that game in his final game.
