The Arizona Cardinals have scheduled a second interview with former Dolphins HC Brian Flores, per Ian Rapoport.
#Steelers senior defensive assistant and LBs coach Brian Flores is expected to have a 2nd interview with the #AZCardinals for their HC job on Wednesday, source said. He also will interview with the #Broncos DC job the day before — and is a top candidate for the #Vikings DC job.

Flores was the favorite to become the Cardinals’ next head coach following his initial interview with the team a few weeks ago.
But talks seemed to quickly wither away as neither party made a second move, that is of course until today.
Nevertheless, landing Flores will be no easy task for Monti Ossenfort and the Cardinals. With teams including the Denver Broncos and the Minnesota Vikings also interested in the four-time Super Bowl champion, Arizona will have to do an excellent job marketing themselves as the right fit.
With Kyler Murray out for the first half of next season, it’s understandable that coaches haven’t found Glendale to be an appealing landing spot.
However, the Cardinals do not have an edge when it comes to Brian Flores considering the connection he has with Monti Ossenfort, Arizona’s owner.
While Ossenfort was a scout for the Pats from 2006 to 2019, Flores was a defensive coach who served in a variety of roles throughout a ten-year span.
Stay tuned for more updates on the Cardinals’ ongoing search for a new head coach.
