Any Possibility Jae Crowder Plays for Suns Again this Season?

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The Phoenix Suns are in a weird space as a team, between the injuries and trade deadline looming. Chris Paul recently spoke out on Jae Cowder for the first time this season. With no trade happening yet, and this team eminent to make a playoff run. Jae Crowder can only help, right?

Chris Paul speaks on Jae Crowder…

When alluding to Jae Crowder after a close loss against the Dallas Mavericks, Paul says he misses Crowder. Paul also alluded to understanding this is a business and not personal.

Yet from the tone Paul used in that post game conference, you can read between the lines. To have another veteran out there who can knock down big shots and play defense on the other teams best player.

Someone out there who understands what winning basketball is and what it takes night in and night out to achieve success. Crowder was a huge piece in the Finals run of 2020, which is why I am sure Chris Paul would love to have him back.

No Trade, Yet…

A trade surrounding Jae Crowder has been on the back on Suns fans and front office’s mind since October. Before the team played any games. Now the Suns sitting at 26-25 and in 9th place in the Western Conference.

Crowder can no question help the Suns reach their goal of at least getting to the Western Conference Finals again. He and the Suns would have to swallow some pride and have a long sit down talk. Which is something I do not see happening.

I’d say off the top of my head, Jae Crowder has a less than 1% chance to put on a Suns jersey again. It is fun to think though, isn’t it?
