Earlier this month, an unarmed black man named Tyree Nichols was killed by 5 police officers in Memphis, Tennessee after he was beaten to the floor.
Just yesterday, there was body cam footage that was shown for the world to see for what exactly happened during the incident and the sight wasn’t pretty.
The pole camera footage of the beating arrest of #TyreNichols synced with the audio from the original body camera footage.

After the incident all 5 of the police officers were fired and charged with second-degree murder.
Phoenix Suns star point guard Chris Paul took to Twitter to send a powerful message about how we as a society need to take action to provoke change for something like this from happening in the future.
Change is needed at all levels and we all need to do our part. We can’t lose our humanity as a society.
To the Nichols’ family and Memphis community, my heart is with you tonight.

This isn’t a first for Paul as he’s always brought social Justice issues up in the past with his most famous one being with LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Carmelo Anthony at the 2016 ESPY’s.

Paul is 100% correct. In order to provoke change, it’s needed to be made at all levels and it starts with us inwardly.
