Good news for Phoenix Suns fans as starting center Deandre Ayton is set to return to the lineup against the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight after he missed the last two games with an ankle injury according to the Phoenix Suns. Ayton has missed 6 games this season due to ankle injuries this season as it has been an up-and-down year for a bunch of Suns players that have been dealing with injuries this season.

Going into tonight’s game alone, the Suns will still be without Cameron Johnson, Devin Booker, Chris Paul, Cameron Payne, and Landry Shamet as they’re all nursing some type of injury. There is good news on the horizon, however, as the Suns should be getting Johnson back after the road trip. Johnson has missed the last two and half months with a right meniscus injury but that is good news for what has been a roller-coaster season, to say the least for the Suns.

Cam Johnson Could Return As Soon As January 19th

The Suns sit at 21-22 and they’re looking to get back to .500 tonight after they take on the Timberwolves at Target Center. Tip-off is at 6 PM Mountain Standard Time on Bally Sports Arizona and NBA League Pass.
