Not that it necessarily matters, but the Phoenix Suns kept their undefeated streak alive against the Pacific Division as they somehow managed a shocking victory on Tuesday night against the Warriors.

Despite a .500 record, the Suns are 8-0 against their division this season.

As the halfway point approaches, Phoenix is 3-0 against the reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors, 2-0 against the Lakers, 2-0 versus the Clippers, and 1-0 against the Kings.

The only other team to hold an undefeated record against their division is the Boston Celtics, however, the Celtics have only played four games against such teams.

And it is not as if the Pacific Division is weak; in fact, it is one of only two divisions that currently has four teams inside the top eight of their respective conferences.

Compared to last year, this undefeated streak appears even more impressive. While having the best overall record in the NBA, the Suns were just 10-6 against the Pacific Division; almost half of their losses alone came against divisional opponents.

Whether it be a strange anomaly or just plain luck, the Suns’ success against their division this season has kept them inside the playoff hunt.

What do you think is the reason for this 8-0 perfect record?
