Suns’ coach Monty Williams has been named Western Conference Coach of the Month.
This is Williams’ fifth time winning the award and fourth time as head coach of the Phoenix Suns.
Monty Williams has helped boost the Suns to the top of the Western Conference with a 15-6 record, and they currently have the longest winning streak in the NBA with six.
Additionally, Phoenix has been red-hot at home, leading the league with a 12-1 home record.
The Suns have done all of this without Chris Paul, Cameron Johnson, and, of course, Jae Crowder.
On the Eastern Conference side, Celtics’ coach Joe Mazzulla was crowned. The Celtics are at the top of their conference with a league best 18-4 record.
