Chris Paul Surpasses Two Milestones in One Week

The “Point God” Chris Paul has been playing some of the most efficient basketball of anybody in this 2022-23 season. He is at the top of his game, leading the league in statistical categories and reaching milestones at the same time. Last night against the Timberwolves, Paul surpassed the 21,000 point mark on his career on top of almost recording a triple double.

Is Chris Paul the Best Passer, Ever?

He is third on the all-time assist leader board and the last two seasons he has lead the league in assist per game. This season he averages 10.8 assist a game.

A week ago Paul reached the 11,000 assist mark. Adding more allure to his name in the history books.

What really makes him special is the assist to turnover ratio. Which head coach Monty Williams described as “That’s just Chris” referring to the last two games where Paul recording 27 assist and 1 turnover. The one turnover? A questionable carrying call that the refs are trying to hamper down on this season.

Reaching 9 assist in every game this season, the “Point God” dish out 12 last night as well as dropping 15 points, 8 boards and 3 steals.

Paul currently sits at number 38 all-time in career points scored. Last night he surpassed the mark of 21,000 which including him, only 38 players have done, ever.

Over the years, Paul has been one of the best at any position. A fierce competitor, and now joins the 21,000 points and 11,000 assist club.
