The NFL trade deadline is just three days away, meaning teams have a short window of time if they want to shake things up. This includes Kliff Kingsbury and the Arizona Cardinals.
HC Kliff Kingsbury explained that he would not be surprised if the Cardinals made a trade before the Nov. 1st deadline. The decision on whether or not a trade happens could very well depend on the outcome of this weekend’s game against the Vikings.
When asked about the opportunity, he responded with, “There’s a lot of really good players out there and I’ll bet there’s a ton of movement over the next few days. I wouldn’t be surprised if we got in on something,” via Bob McManaman of the Arizona Republic.
A couple of players in particular may be playing in their last game in a Cardinals uniform this weekend.
A.J. Green
The 34-year-old WR could be the first to hit the road. Teams such as the Green Bay Packers have already expressed interest in Green, and the Cardinals most likely won’t feel a difference without him. The 7-time pro bowler has definitely worn down with age, and his production has almost grinded to a halt. So far this season, Green only has 10 receptions for 56 yards.
Not to mention, this production will only get worse as the Cardinals now have DeAndre Hopkins back plus Robbie Anderson now on the team.
For many Packers fans, the idea of trading for AJ Green seems a bit wild. So, it will be interesting to see if they actually do put an offer in on the future hall of famer.
AJ Green has 56 receiving yards on 164 routes this season. He’s 34 years old and averaging 0.34 yards per route run.
Trading any kind of draft capital for him would be insanity

J.J. Watt
Cardinals’ fans may not like this one, but J.J. Watt has been a popular name in trade suggestions over the past few weeks. Arizona has found themselves in an odd place where they have a good young core mixed in with a couple of aging veterans. Just like A.J. Green, at 33 years old, J.J. Watt is just not the same player that he used to be.
The Kansas City Chiefs are one team that has expressed interest in the 5-time All-Pro defensive end.
I never really gave it much though until this morning, when it was posted on line as trade conjecture, but JJ Watt to the #Chiefs makes so much sense! He has mad respect for Mahomes, he can't end his career with a SB ring, and depending on compensation, might make sense.

If the Chiefs are able to acquire a pass-rusher: JJ Watt, Brian Burns, Cam Heyward, etc. at the deadline, they are going to win the Super Bowl.
