JJ Watt disclosed that he went into atrial fibrillation earlier this week on Wednesday. The 5-time pro bowler announced via Twitter that he plans to play anyways against the Panthers.
I was just told somebody leaked some personal information about me and it’s going to be reported on today.
I went into A-Fib on Wednesday, had my heart shocked back into rhythm on Thursday and I’m playing today.
That’s it.

However, at age 33 the worries remain that the scare become an even bigger problem. Atrial fibrillation is a somewhat common heart condition and is often reoccurring.
After what happened to the Miami Dolphins QB, Tua Tagovailoa, the NFL community stresses that the league takes Watt’s condition into deep concern.
Fans reacted shocked as they learned about the near-death experience JJ underwent this week.
JJ Watt basically said I almost died but the grind never stops.
