Per, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the ankle injury Conner sustained on Sunday doesn’t seem to be one that will keep him sidelined for the long-haul.

Conner suffered the injury during Week 2 against the Las Vegas Raiders. After injuring his ankle during the third quarter, Conner’s voice became his positive note from the sidelines.

He finished the came with 25 rushing yards off of seven carries. He also caught two targets for 25 yards.

Though Conner wasn’t able to help seal the victory against the Raiders, the Cardinals were able to complete a monumental comeback.

After going into halftime facing a 20-point deficit, both the offense and defense showed a huge turnaround during the second half.

Kyler Murray was able to turn around his deflating performance in the second half, and J.J. Watt instilled some inspiration into a lackluster defense.

Luckily for Conner, he’ll get some time to nurse his ankle ahead of Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams.
