Arizona Diamondbacks triple-A prospect, Corbin Carroll, gets the futures game rolling with a double into left field. The Reno Aces expressed their excitement via twitter, after watching their center fielder cruise into second base.

Carroll is ranked as the number three prospect in all of baseball. At 21 years old, the center fielder is beginning to make a name for himself in front of a large crowd. Corbin was drafted in 2019 at 16th overall out of Lakeside High school.  Since then, he has put up an impressive .315 batting average over the three-year span.

His leadoff double today was a promising sign for the Arizona Diamondbacks as the trade deadline approaches (August 2nd). Fans across the valley are optimistic about the chances of the D-backs bringing up the young centerfielder.
