Cardinals trio of Pro Bowl snubs named alternates

The NFL announced this years Pro Bowl rosters Thursday morning with a pair of Cardinals stars getting the invite. Safety Budda Baker will be making the trip to the game for the 7th time in his career while tight end Trey McBride receives the honor for the first time. Three more Arizona players were selected as alternates including kick returner DeeJay Dallas, tackle Paris Johnson Jr. and kicker Chad Ryland.

Baker is now one of just five players in team history to earn the invite at least 7 times, joining Larry Fitzgerald, Patrick Peterson, Larry Wilson and Roger Wehrli. This season Baker has already set a new career high with 155 tackles and 2 sacks.

McBride earns his first invite in just his 3rd year in the league. The tight end has set career highs almost across the board, hauling in 104 catches for 1,081 yards and a score.

The NFL Pro Bowl game is set for February 2nd in Orlando.
