Phoenix Suns head coach Mike Budenholzer analyzed what transpired in his team’s resilient 116-109 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.
Leading at halftime, the Suns saw their lead vanish as the Blazers had the momentum to begin the third quarter. Seeing the lead fall out of the team’s favor, Phoenix then responded by bouncing back and making crucial shots when it needed to. Devin Booker led all players with 28 points, Jusuf Nurkić recorded his sixth double-double of the season with 10 points and 14 rebounds and Kevin Durant scored 20 while shooting 9-for-23 (39.1%) overall and 1-for-9 (11.1%) from 3.
