Leavitt is a redshirt freshman who played last year at Michigan State and will make his case for the No. 1 QB role this season. On Day 3 of preseason training camp, he, Trenton Bourguet and Jeff Sims are the presumed three quarterbacks who are in contention for that highly coveted spot.
