During the 1st half of the Mercury’s battle against the Fever, Brittney Griner and Diana Taurasi combined for 26 points, while Phoenix held Caitlin Clark to a 2-8 shooting performance from the field.

Booker has recently been dedicating most of his offseason to preparing for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, where he will join Kevin Durant and other NBA stars on Team USA.

Over the past few weeks, Booker has been escaping the summer heat by staying at his home in Flagstaff. Last week, he trained with Lakers’ D’Angelo Russell at Coconino High School.

Official training camp for the 2024 Summer Olympics will begin on July 6th in Las Vegas. Team USA’s first practice game will be against Team Canada on July 10th. They will then travel to Abu Dhabi for a series of games against Australia and Serbia, followed by matchups against South Sudan and Germany in London.

Team USA’s first game of the Summer Olympics is scheduled for July 28th against Serbia. The USA team is seeking their 17th overall gold medal.
