According to On3 Sports’ Brett McMurphy, ASU and Kansas are in discussions to play the first-ever college football game at Wembley Stadium in London. The talks remain preliminary and no final decision has been made.
“We’re in conversation about international games,” ASU athletic director Graham Rossini told Burns and Gambo in August. “That’s something that the Big 12 is very focused on. We’re interested in that as well.”

Arizona State has previously played outside the country, with its first international game in Tokyo in 1990 for the Coca-Cola Classic, where the Sun Devils lost to Houston.
If finalized, it would be the third college football game scheduled for next season and only the second ever played in the United Kingdom. The game is tentatively set for Sept. 19, 2026.
