Fehoko is also making franchise history. He is the Cardinals’ first Special Teams Player of the Week since Blake Gillikin in 2024 and the first Arizona non-kicker or punter to win the award since David Johnson in 2015. That context matters because Fehoko’s roster spot was not simply about adding another wide receiver. After a strong preseason, he showed his value could come through versatility, effort, and situational impact. The punt block is evidence that the Cards saw something worth preserving.
