According to Arizona Sports insider John Gambadoro, the organization is preparing to target another guard in free agency. The Suns have been linked to Luke Kennard, Kevin Huerter, Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, and De’Anthony Melton. Each player brings different strengths, but the common thread is clear: Phoenix wants another proven ball-handler capable of easing pressure on its stars while thriving in multiple offensive roles.

The most intriguing possibility may be his dark horse, Landry Shamet. Familiarity with the organization could shorten the adjustment period, allowing Phoenix to prioritize continuity while maintaining roster flexibility.

Instead, they build multiple decision-makers capable of keeping an offense organized when defenses inevitably load up on stars. Whoever gets signed will provide depth alongside Collin Gillespie.

For Suns fans, that’s why this search deserves attention. The player ultimately signed may never lead the team in scoring or dominate headlines.
