Leavitt started his collegiate career at Michigan State in 2023 before transferring to Tempe, Ariz. He had marquee success in two seasons, including a career year in 2024. Leavitt started 13 games for the Sun Devils — posting 2,885 passing yards, 443 rushing yards, 29 total touchdowns, and a passer rating of 150.2. He leaves Dillingham in a situation to find a new signal caller; however, major NIL (name, image, and likeness) opportunities could be in line for Leavitt with his new team.

He is one of the 10 biggest transfer targets via On3. Leavitt possesses the ability to lead a team to the 12-team playoff and be a conference champion. He earned Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year and second-team All-Big 12 last year.
