GLENDALE – A lot is learned about a person by their reaction to failures. For Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett, he has to endure plenty of those during the 2025 season. The most embarrassing one coming in Week 14 vs. the Los Angeles Rams in a 45-17 loss. Arizona is 3-10, with sixth straight home losses and two five-game losing streaks on the year.

“It’s like the old saying, ‘when you’re trying to get into the gym, the heaviest weight is the door.’ And that is what it is right now, we got to keep showing up. Keep having the attitude to show up and get ourselves off the mat. I think we have the right guys in the locker room that is doing that. Obviously, it’s hard. It’s not an easy task. The only way to get through it is to see it through.”

Despite Brissett’s positivity, Arizona has a rough final four game stretch, with three games on the road. The Cardinals are likely to not be favored in any of their final games. If the team loses out, it would be the worst record/winning percentage by the franchise since 1959, when they were the Chicago Cardinals.
In response to Arizona being on its second five-game losing streak, Brissett pointed out what happened in the sixth game during the first five-game losing streak. The sixth game was of course the Monday Night Football game vs. the Dallas Cowboys, where the Cardinals won 27-17. Brissett said that the goal next week is to replicate last time and get a win, like it is every week.
