GLENDALE – The resurgence of Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett has been one of the few positives fans have had the pleasure of watching this 2025 season. The 10-year backup quarterback signed with Arizona this past offseason as a last-case scenario if Kyler Murray was hurt. However, Brissett has quickly earned the trust of the Cardinals coaching staff and front office to be the team’s top guy.

Setting the record has given Brissett the honor of being immortalized at the Football Hall of Fame, where his jersey will be on displayed for his record-breaking performance.

Brissett jersey up for display at Football Hall of Fame:
The former third-round pick averaged less than 200 passing yards per game on under 60% completion last season. A year later, Brissett is recording 314 passing yards per game on 66.7% competition with 10 touchdowns and three interceptions.
For the past decade, Brissett has been looking for a home, and it has been a struggle. Brissett has played for six different teams in the past six years. Arizona could be the first time since 2020 that he remains on the same team for back-to-back seasons.

While the Cardinals record is 3-7, Brissett has more than done enough for his part to warrant the franchise to consider keeping him around for another season. Regardless of the team’s decision around Murray, Brissett’s production and humility has helped keep a disastrous season manageable.
