The Cards lost by a score of 16-15 last Sunday, and most of the blame fell on the Arizona’s lack of offense, highlighted by absent-minded playcalling that is detrimental to the success of the franchise.

The run-first heavy game plan has now left Arizona without their star running back James Conner after a season-ending injury, and is now having to resort to figuring out its passing attack while dealing with insufficient wide receiver play. Although even with all the issues building up, Arizona fans are finding that the main problem has come from the offensive playcalling from Petzing.

With how much firepower Arizona’s offense has, why can’t Arizona seem to find any consistency? It’s about eliminating mistakes and building a stable game plan. Their offensive line isn’t giving enough time for QB Kyler Murray at times, along with the multiple drops by wide receivers, and the consistency of just building their pass game up by being able to throw it downfield are all things Petzing needs to fix if he wants to keep calling plays for the Cards.
