The Diamondbacks are in the midst of a playoff race, looking to secure the final National League wild-card spot before the send of the month. On the other hand, Arizona State is just beginning its season as it looks to recapture last year’s magic and defend its Big 12 Conference Championship.
With the Valley’s teams both chasing success this fall, Leavitt’s game-day fit served as a timely symbol of Arizona cross-sport unity.
