Murray’s NFL career so far has included electric highlights mixed with questions about consistency, leadership, and health. Since being drafted No. 1 overall in 2019, Murray has made two Pro Bowls and produced some of the most exciting plays in franchise history. But he has also missed time with injuries, and the Cardinals have yet to see him deliver a deep playoff run. Murray in the 2024 NFL season threw for 3,851 yards along with 21 touchdowns and an overall QB rating of 93.5.

With a retooled roster, including young stars like Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison Jr., the franchise is positioning Murray with the support he needs. The front office has also made it clear they expect him to be the leader on and off the field. For Cardinals fans, this season feels like a turning point. If Murray delivers, Arizona can move forward with confidence that their franchise QB could finally be the answer to their problems. If not, tough decisions about the future could come sooner rather than later.

As Leinart pointed out, the pressure is on. Kyler Murray has the talent, but now it’s about proving he can put it all together for the Cardinals.
