PHOENIX – An aggressive mentality, a hard-nosed demeanor, and a tough attitude were all things that the Phoenix Suns have lacked recently, though with the addition of Dillon Brooks, that narrative could be changing.

The missing need for an enforcer and a voice of somebody who will say what needs to be said has been filled with a player like Dillon Brooks. In the prior playoff exits, the Suns have lacked an edge, a physical and vocal presence on and off the court that holds others accountable and will give that energy when it’s needed.

Would Suns fans embrace a player with such an attitude as Dillon Brooks? The face of the franchise, Devin Booker, has a cool and calm demeanor, and some might feel that his antics could be a little much.

How Suns fans feel about Dillon Brooks coming to Phoenix:

Having this type of player who is sometimes often classified as a, “villian”, has been beneficial for other NBA franchises as well. Draymond Green has been one of the faces of that type of enforcer, by getting under the skin of opposing teams, whether physically or mentally. If Dillon Brooks could provide that spark for the Suns, Phoenix could be turning the corner with a new core that could find itself having a lot of success, though through new methods.
