A deep fly ball was hit by the San Francisco Giants’ Christian Koss that headed towards the left field wall, and was caught by a fan who leaped onto the rail. Left-fielder Tim Tawa looked to be under the ball but was surprised when he turned around to see a fan had come over into the field of play. Center-fielder Alek Thomas had some words for the fan in frustration.

Although, this wasn’t the first time this fan had been under scrutiny during an MLB game. In the past four seasons at Chase Field, he has been included in a fan interference moment that has been a highlight of the game.
You can’t make this up: this D-backs fan has now been part of an umpire review in each of the last four seasons ????????

Diamondbacks react to the fan interference and the learning of his past:
Video of fan getting ejected that inteferred with Christian Koss’s would be homerun that was called a double at Chase Field #SFGiants #Dbacks pic.twitter.com/f7Wns6IHhB

1. Eject the fan
2. Tawa wasn’t catching that
3. That ball probably hits off the wall and careens into play
4. Will be hilarious if this is called an out
5. The bullpen is so depleted that John Curtiss is your set-up man

.@MLB and the @Dbacks need to address this because the same fan has been doing this over and over again. There are even more videos popping up of him interfering. https://t.co/TyDsoA0dXH

The Arizona Diamondbacks were able to come away with the win on Monday night against the San Francisco Giants by a score of 4-2. What happens to the future of that fan near the left field wall remains to be seen, though the unfortunate moments of getting involved in a game on multiple occasions shouldn’t be overlooked. The Snakes take on the Giants in the second game of their series tonight at Chase Field at 6:40 p.m. PT.
