After what has been an electric start of the season for Eugenio Suárez, he now finds himself in amazing company. His 295 career homers have now put him third all-time leader in home runs for players that were born in Venezuela. Suárez surpassed Magglio Ordóñez (294) and is now behind Andrés Gallaragga (399) and Miguel Cabrera (511).

So far in 2025, Suárez has 19 home runs and is tied for fifth in the majors alongside fellow Arizona D-Back Corbin Carroll. In this last week alone, Suárez has hit three home runs and has come alive for this D-Backs squad in their time of need. Not only that, he is the only player this year in the MLB to hit three grand slams this season.

One of the highlights of the season so far came when Suárez became the 19th player in Major League Baseball history to hit four homers in a single game back against the Atlanta Braves earlier this season. The third baseman is the first player in the big leagues to do so since J.D. Martinez back in 2017, who also was a member of the D-Backs at the time.

Eugenio Suárez never takes a moment for granted, as his work ethic is on display as he grinds harder every day to be the best version of himself. Not only has he skyrocketed to new heights this season, Suárez must feel more than accomplished, knowing that he is putting on for his country and making them proud as well.
