Emmers has eight years of experience, most notably with Romanian Liga 1 club FC Rapid Bucuresti for the past three seasons. The 25-year-old has also represented Belgium on the international stage.

During his time in Europe, Emmers has played across four different countries, scoring 25 goals and providing 22 assists in 140 cumulative appearances.
