Key players to watch:

Corbin Carroll so far in 2025, has a .320 batting average, and a .740 slugging percentage. Geraldo Perdomo has been electric as well as he boasts a .333 batting average and .389 OBP. Josh Naylor has been on top of it also, hitting .340 for the Snakes. If these three keep crushing while Ketel Marte is sidelined with a hamstring injury, the D-Backs seemingly can contend with any offense in the league.

Who is pitching for the D-Backs this weekend?

  • Tomorrow in Friday night’s matchup we will see Eduardo Rodriguez take the mound for the Snakes. E-Rod so far in 10.1 innings pitched has a 0-1 record with a 6.10 ERA, giving up seven earned runs on eight hits.
  • Corbin Burnes will be a familiar face for Milwaukee as he faces his former team on Saturday Night. Burnes will look to get on track, as he has a 0-1 record as well with a 5.79 ERA. He has given up 6 earned runs on 11 hits in his first two starts.
  • Sunday will see Zac Gallen get the ball for the D-Backs. Gallen is coming into this matchup with a 1-2 record. In 15.1 innings pitched, he has given up 9 earned runs on 14 hits, and has an ERA of 5.28

The D-Backs will be banking on Burnes returning to his Cy Young form, while hoping Zac Gallen figures it out at home in front of the D-Backs fans. E-Rod will look to give this team a boost of energy in the first matchup against the Brewers tomorrow, as the Snakes look to go get back to back wins and build some sort of momentum.
