The Arizona Diamondbacks had a special moment in Saturday’s game as Tim Tawa, made his MLB Debut for the D-Backs.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! In an emotional video, Tawa was called into the Reno Aces manager’s office to hear the news that every ball player dreams of hearing, that he was being called up to The Show. The move was made after Ketel Marte unfortunately had a hamstring injury in Friday’s matchup. The Snakes were eager to get their No. 25 prospect over to D.C. for the matchup.
The moment Tim Tawa found out he was a big leaguer ????

As Tawa’s friends and family looked on and watched his first at-bat in the big leagues, he waited for his pitch, and sailed into the open field for his first big league hit.
Tawa spoke on the at-bat:
“I was just looking for a fastball out over the plate, like I always am. Then got that fastball up, out over and tried to put a good swing on it. Still kind of a blur in terms of what happened after that, but just remember smiling and that feeling of, ‘OK, got it out of the way.’ But also just super ecstatic and excited and felt like hard work paid off right there.”
A moment he’ll never forget.

Tawa, who spent the last four years in the minors, was waiting for this moment his entire life. Not just to be a part of the game, but to make a mark on it. He did just that by going 1-3 with an RBI, run scored, and a walk in his MLB Debut.
