PHOENIX – When a franchise is at its lowest point, everyone likes to take shots. The Phoenix Suns are the 11th seed in the Western Conference and a game out of the Play-In spot with the most expensive roster in the NBA. It’s no secret how disappointing this season has been for the franchise, and there hasn’t been a shortage of media members to let it know. ESPN, TNT, Fox Sports, and more media outlets have pointed out the Suns’ weaknesses, but now that list has grown to NBA players with Dallas Mavericks’ Spencer Dinwiddie.

Dinwiddie appeared on Kick streamer N3on’s livestream, where he was asked to describe NBA teams in one word, and when he got to Phoenix, he didn’t hold back.
Video Dinwiddie’s word on the Suns:
The Mavericks guard described the Suns as “ass” and laughed off the terrible season the franchise has endured. Despite losing in the teams’ last matchup, Dallas is in the ninth seed and 2.5 games ahead of Phoenix. The Mavericks have almost had just as horrible a season as the Suns with the loss of Luke Doncic and the Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis injuries.
Davis has returned and helped lead the franchise to a comfortable spot in the Play-In tournament for the moment. Dinwiddie has stepped up similarity since Irving’s injury. The 11-year NBA veteran has averaged 15.0 points, 6.8 assists, and 3.7 rebounds in 15 games.

Recently, the duo have had more success than the Suns, who are enduring the hardest remaining schedule in the NBA. Regardless of the validity or how harsh Dinwiddie’s words were, Phoenix needs to use the criticisms as motivation during this last stretch of the season, starting tonight against the Boston Celtics.
