The Arizona Diamondbacks are only a couple days away from Opening Day, though how will Chase Field look, will it stand strong? Renovations have taken place over the offseason for a number of issues, yet there are still hopefully more to come.

Starting with the roof, it isn’t perfect, though definitely better than it was in the past. Having the issues being fixed and it finally being functional, will be something they have been waiting for. Maybe it’s having the stars shine over when the weather allows, or just the Friday night fireworks show, the organization must be happy to have a little normalcy back.

CEO and general partner Derrick Hall mentioned they have a long list of refurbishments ahead of them, including fixing the HVAC, which could be a longer process than some might hope. The fact that the organization has put $200 million into Chase Field, will show that they are dedicated to invest in their public-private partnership. Although, this situation might not come to an end until the tax recapture bill HB 2704 is approved, which would fund renovations throughout Chase Field.

CEO Derrick Hall spoke more on the matter:

“We belong downtown, we belong in that stadium and that’s where we wanna be. We’ve brought over $6 billion of economic impact. We’re very proud of that and if we invest in that stadium, we are sure that everyone around us is gonna do better as well.”

Another down for the 2025 Arizona Diamondbacks bullpen, what now?
