PHOENIX — Phoenix Suns rookie Ryan Dunn spoke to the media following their 122-106 win over the Sacramento Kings where he jolted his squad to victory through relentless energy and electric defense.
Dunn finished the night with 16 points, a career-high four steals, five rebounds and three assists in 33 minutes. Phoenix coach Mike Budenholzer lauded the rookie’s effort and mindset for always staying ready as he was thrown in the starting lineup after being out of the rotation for a good amount of time leading up to Friday’s game.
Phoenix improves to 31-36 and sits just 1½ games behind the Dallas Mavericks (33-35) for the 10th seed and final spot in the West play-in. They now venture to Los Angeles to take on the LeBron James-less Lakers on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. MDT.
