Schumacher had a five-year collegiate career split between St. Martin’s University (2019-2022) and Seattle University (2022-2024). While at Seattle, Schumacher earned the 2024 All-WAC second team and was named to the College Basketball Invitational All-Tournament team. After graduating, he went undrafted in the 2024 NBA draft but found a spot on the Wind City Bulls. In 24 games, Schumacher averaged 8.1 points, 3.0 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game.
The Valley Suns stand at 14-11 and are the fifth seed in the Western Conference. Schumacher will join the club for its final eight games of the regular season and a potential playoff run. The club’s next game is tomorrow against the Capital City Go-Go at Mullet Arena, which could be the debut of Schumacher.
