Fans hyped as Suns address center position, trade for Nick Richards

Not even 24 hours after the Phoenix Suns lost a disappointing road game to the Atlanta Hawks, fans are overjoyed as the Suns made a move to get long-coveted center Nick Richards from the Charlotte Hornets for Josh Okogie and multiple second-round picks.

Phoenix center Jusuf Nurkic lost his spot in the rotation amidst being shopped by the team. In turn, Mason Plumlee and Oso Ighodaro split time as starting centers. Understandably, production from the Suns’ frontcourt dwindled. Acquiring Richards not only addresses those center position problems, but pleases Suns fans that were desperate for any change.
