What was initially thought to be a lineup change that wouldn’t yield significant results, moving Bradley Beal to the bench ended up working out in every way possible for the Phoenix Suns in a 109-99 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! Not only did the Suns break a four-game losing streak, but Beal shined in his first game off the bench in eight seasons. The three-time All-Star scored 25 of Phoenix’s 54 bench points on 66.7% (10-15) shooting from the field.
Many Suns fans felt that moving Beal to the bench wouldn’t solve any problems, at least in the long-term. But what the move did was give Phoenix a fresh new look and its first win of the new year.
Here’s how fans felt on social media about the move and the win against the 76ers:

2 quick takes.
Bradley Beal looks like he is legit having fun as the 6th man. That makes me happy.
I still think the Suns won the NBA draft. Dunn and Oso are just quality guys and Suns got both late
