With high anticipation for its release, Amazon MGM Studios announced that it will host free screenings of the film in “the top 85 U.S. markets” across the country on Jan. 8, according to a press release.

The movie is based on the true story of Robles’ life from a rough upbringing to becoming an elite wrestler while only having one leg.

Featuring Jennifer Lopez and Jharrel Jerome, it depicts all of what Robles had to go through and the difficult challenges that came along his heroic journey. Starting with his house being six months behind on the mortgage to not being highly recruited for college, Robles became an inspiration for others and has persevered through adversity to get to where he is today.

Solidified as a standout collegiately for a well-recognized program, Robles was a three-time Pac-10 champion, owned a record of 122–23 and was a three-time All-American for ASU.

On Jan. 8 at 7 p.m., six theaters in Arizona will show the film for Sun Devils fans and anyone to enjoy.
