Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham announced he plans on having open tryouts for a kicker during Mondays practice in his post game rant following Saturdays loss. During that game, the Sun Devils missed two more kicks and have now missed five on the season. Dillingham doubled down on his comments and said all you needed to do was be a student and email him if your interested. Shortly after the press conference had concluded, coach Dillingham took to twitter to issue a formal apology, stating that he was talking about the kicking game the way way he does the defense and the offense, but that he recognized the kicking game falls on one player.
