Surratt came into the NFL in 2021 as a undrafted free agent with Wake Forest. He played for the Detroit Lions (2021) and Los Angeles Chargers (2022) in the league before spending this past season in the UFL with the Memphis Showboats, where he had 27 receptions for 269 yards and two touchdowns across 10 games.
He enters a tight end room with a pretty clear top-3 players in Trey McBride, Elijah Higgins and rookie Tip Reiman.
Arias spent most of his time on the Cardinals’ practice squad last season after joining the team as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado last May.
The Cardinals head to Denver to take on the Broncos in their preseason finale this Sunday (Aug. 25) at 1:30 p.m. MST on CBS.
