“If y’all leave me off an [All-Defensive] team this year, I’m going to lose my mind,” Cloud said. “I’m guarding one through five. One through five! I love that. I’ve always been a defensive minded player. I think it’s a testament to my Philly roots, too. I take that challenge, and I love it. I love going up against Dearica [Hamby], I love going up against A’ja [Wilson], I love going up against whoever is the best opponent on the other team. That’s a role I want to take for this team. When you talk about understanding who you are and what you’re meant to be for this team, that’s who I am.”
