NFL insiders like ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Dortch has agreed to contract terms with Arizona.

“Cardinals announced exclusive rights free-agent wide receiver Greg Dortch has signed his one-year tender,” Schefter said.

Dortch’s signature was not a matter of if but when as he announced back on March 11 that he was staying in Arizona.

“More motivated than I’ve ever been! Excited to be back in Arizona again next season,” Dortch said on X (formerly Twitter).

The 25-year-old went undrafted in 2019 after three seasons (2016-18) in college at Wake Forest.

Receiving an opportunity to play professionally, the New York Jets signed him in 2019.

Dortch was on the practice squads of the Jets, Carolina Panthers, Los Angeles Rams and Atlanta Falcons during 2019-20. Before the Cardinals, he played just two NFL games in 2019 with the Panthers.

To secure a stable home in the NFL, Arizona signed Dortch on August 3, 2021. Through 37 games (10 starts), the Virginia native has totaled 762 yards from 79 receptions and scored four touchdowns as a Cardinal.

Now that he is signed, Dortch will return to a wide receiver core along with Chris Moore, Zach Pascal, Michael Wilson, Dan Chisena, Jeff Smith, Andre Baccellia, Kaden Davis and Daniel Arias.

The Cardinals traded Rondale Moore to the Atlanta Falcons while Marquise Brown left in free agency, signing a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Greg Dortch, Blake Gillikin, Krys Barnes to all re-sign with Cardinals
