With NFL free agency now underway, the Arizona Cardinals will need to make several moves to improve their roster. A huge position of need on the team remains to be the defensive line.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Last season, Arizona finished with the third-fewest sacks and second-fewest QB pressures in the league. Outside linebacker Dennis Garlack led the team with six total sacks in 2023.

Miami Dolphins star defensive lineman Christian Wilkins was not franchise-tagged by the team and therefore will be an unrestricted free agent.
Wilkins is coming off a career year where he led the team with nine sacks and 23 QB hits. This ranked top-five among all defensive tackles.
If grier and @MiamiDolphins let Christian Wilkins walk. Grier deserves to be fired. Especially if he walks without a franchise tag trade. pic.twitter.com/EznETyFgQR

While Wilkins should without a doubt be on Arizona’s radar, it will come at a hefty price. To give a reference, Baltimore just re-signed defensive tackle Justin Madubuike to a four-year, $98 million deal.
Wilkins will more than likely receive a very similar deal to that of Madubuike.
This is just one move the Cardinals should consider but could help transform the defense. Head coach Jonathan Gannon had an elite defensive line in Philadelphia and can now start building that in Arizona.
Does a trade for Chiefs’ L’Jarius Sneed make sense for Cardinals?
The Arizona Cardinals will be a huge topic of discussion with the capital they possess this offseason.
