Cardinals Favored at -200 Odds to Draft Marvin Harrison Jr. 4th Overall

Nov. 25, 2023; Ann Arbor, Mi., USA; Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. (18) toward the end zone during the second half of Saturday's NCAA Division I football game against the University of Michigan.

As speculation mounts over the Chicago Bears parting ways with Justin Fields and potentially selecting a quarterback in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals’ odds have surged to -200 for picking Marvin Harrison Jr. 4th overall.

In three years at Ohio State, Harrison Jr. had the 6th most receptions with 155 and receiving yards (2,613) in the school’s history. He also collected 31 touchdown catches, the 3rd highest total of any Buckeye ever.

Harrison Jr.’s illustrious college career includes winning the Biletnikoff Award, being named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, earning All-American honors twice, and being a finalist for the Heisman Trophy.

With the Bears holding the first pick in April’s draft, they face a broad spectrum of choices, so it is not out of the picture for them to grab Harrison Jr. at #1 to pair with Justin Fields.

The draft order sees the Commanders at second, currently favored to select quarterback Jayden Daniels, followed by the New England Patriots at third, who are also considered likely to opt for a quarterback.

The last time the Cardinals drafted a WR in the first round was in 2012 when they selected Michael Floyd out of Notre Dame. Floyd went on to play five years in Arizona, including a 1000-yard season in 2013.

According to most mock drafts, Marvin Harrison Jr. is expected to be available when the Cardinals make their 4th overall selection.
