While injuries have certainly contributed, with Bradley Beal sidelined for both games and Jusuf Nurkic absent for their encounter with the Rockets, these two losses have intensified concerns among fans across the valley.
Currently sitting at 8th place in the Western Conference, the Suns would find themselves in the play-in tournament if the season ended today.
The road ahead for the Suns features challenging matchups, as they face the toughest remaining schedule in the NBA. Notable games over the next two weeks include meetings with the Lakers, Thunder, Nuggets, Celtics, and Cavaliers.
Here’s a glimpse of what fans had to say following Phoenix’s loss to the Rockets on Friday night:
That 0 in 2 after the All-Star game. Unacceptable! https://t.co/KAjClDIwwJ

Frustrating one, looked good early but for some reason shots stopped falling and Rockets starting hitting theirs and that was the difference tonight. KD and Book man have just had back to back off nights shooting not sure what is going on there. Well a huge game Sunday at home! https://t.co/sYMswEVOGr

Played like a team that deserved to lose tonight pretty simple. 0-2 right out of the gates post ASG break is a tough tough look https://t.co/j9gHrDpjwu

This up there with the most frustrating stretches of the season, but the Suns aren’t the Suns without Beal and Nurk. That simple. They’re susceptible to these types of Ls.
Dealing with a less-than-full-strength Suns so often sucks, but they’re a great team at full-strength.

We’re in a cycle.
The Suns were built around the Big 3 of Beal KD Book. When one or two of them is out, we struggle.
They play together, we look great, everyone says we can win a eing, then they get hurt, we struggle again and people say season over.
