The Arizona State Sun Devils are set to host the Washington Huskies for the second time this season on Thursday, Feb. 22 @ 7 p.m. MST.

The two Pac-12 teams faced each other just last month, with the Huskies (14-12, 6-9) coming out on top 82-67.
Similar to a large majority of the Sun Devils’ losses this season, they were unable to connect from beyond the arc. The Huskies were efficient, shooting over 50 percent from both the field and three against ASU.
It is worth considering that their first matchup was played in Washington. They will now head to Desert Financial, where the Sun Devils are 9-3 this season. The Huskies are just 3-5 on the road.
Crucial game for Arizona State
The Sun Devils are coming off a devastating 45-point loss to Arizona. This was the team’s largest loss of the season, as well as the largest loss in Territorial Cup history.

ASU currently sits at seventh in the conference and can fall even further with a loss to Washington on Thursday.
With only five games remaining, including two matchups with top-25 ranked programs, they desperately need a win here.
This is the first of three straight home games for the Sun Devils and should be the most manageable of the three. Head coach Bobby Hurley has continued to make starting lineup changes, which could very well continue into this game.

A victory for Arizona State here would boost them to sixth in the conference. The team will leave it all on the floor as they’ve been doing, in an attempt to split their season series with the Huskies.
