Booker’s shoe and face have been plastered on buildings and billboards throughout Indianapolis to commemorate the first release of the shoe.

Booker had a private event in Indianapolis last night to celebrate the release of the shoe during this All-Star weekend.
“My favorite part of the shoe, the performance aspect, is it’s a classic shoe, but all the performance is in the inside,” Booker said. “I modeled it after a lot of my vintage cars.”

Booker (fourth appearance) and Kevin Durant (14th appearance) will be representing the Suns in the All-Star Game Sunday night.
A new, special colorway of the ‘Book 1’ made for the All-Star Game, paying homage to the 1995 All-Star Game played in Phoenix, was worn by Booker at today’s All-Star practice.

Booker did have a smaller release of the shoe, dropping 500 pairs of the orange colorway in Miami in December, but this is the first launch to the general public.
“It’s not just my shoe, it’s everybody’s shoe,” Booker said. “I drew inspiration from everybody, all walks of my life, and I just want everybody to be a part of it.”
