It was two quick technical fouls that led to Booker’s ejection. Immediately, Footprint Center erupted with ‘refs you suck.’

Stepping into Booker’s shoes, the Suns’ bench exploded for 35 points, spearheaded by Saben Lee with a season-high of 15.

Newcomer Royce O’Neale also made a significant impact, with Phoenix enjoying a staggering +37-point advantage while he was on the court.

Even Drew Eubanks, who was punched in the face by Pistons’ Isaiah Stewart during pregame, received some minutes. In 17 minutes, Eubanks grabbed 8 rebounds.

Among the starters, Kevin Durant contributed 25 points, while Jusuf Nurkic notched a triple-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

At one juncture, the Suns’ lead swelled to 35 points, prompting Frank Vogel to empty the bench in the 4th quarter, allowing his starters some rest.

With the All-Star break providing a brief respite, the Suns’ next game is scheduled for February 22nd against the Dallas Mavericks. Tipoff for this road matchup is set for 5:30 PM.
