At the age of 35, Kevin Durant is experiencing arguably the greatest scoring stretch of his career in the past week or so.

Durant’s stat lines in the past 7 games:

January 8th: 10/17 (.588), 30 points

January 11th: 7/12 (.583), 18 points

January 14th: 8/16 (.500), 21 points

January 16th: 7/16 (.438), 27 points

January 19th: 11/19 (.579), 26 points

January 21st: 18/25 (.720), 40 points

January 22nd: 16/32 (.500), 43 points

He has now notched back-to-back 40+ point nights in a 24-hour span, been named Western Conference Player of the Week, and has made one of the most insane shots you will ever see to cap off a Suns comeback win over the Bulls.

Last night, after starting 0-5 from deep entering halftime, KD erupted for 17 points in the 4th quarter, scoring more than half of Phoenix’s points. Thanks in part to KD, the Suns have erased two 2nd 20-point deficits in their last five games and are currently riding a six-game winning streak, the longest current streak in the NBA.

It was this shot that had fans and players around the league at a loss for words.

Even LeBron James had to show some love.

The fan reactions were absolutely priceless:

Next up for the Suns is a rivalry matchup against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday. This game will be the first of a 7-game road trip for Phoenix.
