Tyrese Haliburton will not play in tonight’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns (23-18) due to left hamstring strain injury management, according to Indiana Pacers (24-18) coach Rick Carlisle.

Haliburton returned for Friday’s 118-115 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers after missing the previous five games with the left hamstring strain. Haliburton, who leads the league with 12.6 assists per game, will now miss the second game of new teammate Pascal Siakam’s Indiana career.

Carlisle added that this is simply injury management, not a setback for Haliburton.

Andrew Nembhard, who has started 11 games for Indiana this season, is available after missing the past two games with a thoracic spine sprain.

Both players were originally listed as questionable.

For the Suns, Jordan Goodwin is available after being listed as probable with a right ankle sprain. Coach Frank Vogel said Goodwin suffered the sprain in practice. Goodwin has not played any rotation minutes since the Suns have been healthy.

Bol Bol (right foot sprain) and Damion Lee (right meniscus surgery) were reported yesterday to be out for Phoenix.

Tonight’s game tips off at 6 p.m. MST.
